Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website tahdetgames.com and the free-play social-casino games available on it (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by OMD AS LTD ("Tähdet Games", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended solely for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age. 2. Virtual currency ("Tähdet Coins")
All gameplay on the Service is conducted using a virtual, in-game currency referred to as Tähdet Coins. Tähdet Coins:
- have no monetary value and are not legal tender;
- cannot be exchanged, redeemed, cashed out, or converted into real money, goods, services, cryptocurrency, or any other item of real-world value;
- cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, or assigned to any other person or account;
- are provided free of charge — Tähdet Games does not sell coins, does not accept payment for coins, and offers no top-up mechanism of any kind;
- may be added to, adjusted, or removed by Tähdet Games at any time in our sole discretion, including in cases of suspected exploit, bug, or automated abuse.
A free daily bonus of Tähdet Coins is available once every 24 hours as an alternative refill mechanism. Because the currency has no monetary value, no purchase is ever necessary or possible.
3. Sweepstakes framework & alternative means of entry
Where any promotional feature of the Service is structured as a sweepstakes, entry is always free. Under Finnish sweepstakes convention, an alternative means of entry is available on written request to [email protected]. No purchase is necessary to enter, participate, or win any promotional feature offered on the Service. The odds of winning any promotional feature are unaffected by the method of entry.
4. Account & access
The Service does not currently require account registration. Session state
(coin balance, daily-bonus timestamp, age-gate confirmation) is stored in the
visitor's browser via localStorage. Clearing browser storage will
reset this state. Where any optional account feature is added in the future,
you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials
confidential, and to notify us of any unauthorised use.
5. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- use bots, scripts, headless browsers, or any other automated means to access, spin, or otherwise interact with the Service;
- exploit bugs, race conditions, or unintended behaviour to accumulate coins or to bypass the daily-bonus cooldown;
- use a VPN, proxy, TOR node, or other means to misrepresent your geographical location or to circumvent geo-restrictions;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source of the Service beyond what is permitted by mandatory local law;
- upload, transmit, or link to any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable through any interactive form on the Service (e.g. the contact form);
- use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of the Service.
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including the name "Tähdet Games", the site design, written editorial, imagery, code, and game logic — is owned by or licensed to OMD AS LTD and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except that you may view and use the Service in the ordinary course of visiting the site for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
7. DMCA / copyright notices
If you believe that content available on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] containing (a) your contact details, (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, (c) identification of the material on the Service you claim is infringing, (d) a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act, and (e) your signature (electronic acceptable). Tähdet Games does not control third-party sites, does not endorse their content, and is not responsible for their availability, terms, privacy practices, or content. 9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tähdet Games disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Because Tähdet Coins have no monetary value and no purchase is possible, the aggregate liability of Tähdet Games to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to fifty euros (€50).
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. On termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at tahdetgames.com/terms with the effective date shown at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Finland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.
